CSU Summer Arts at CSUMB

April 15-18 is National Undergraduate Research Week. To celebrate, UROC will host a series of events that highlight the benefits of research in transforming undergraduates into innovative scholars and competitive graduate school applicants. Please see below for more detailed information about this week's events.

Undergraduate Poster Session

Wednesday, April 17th
Location/Time: UROC (2nd Floor of the Library) from 3-5pm
Description: Learn about the research fellow CSUMB undergraduates have conducted at top institutions from across the country. Share in their personal experiences and see what past CSUMB alumni have gone on to achieve through research. Socialize with students and faculty from CSUMB, and do not forget to pick up your raffle ticket!

Research Fair
Date: Thursday, April 18th
Location/Time: UROC (2nd Floor of the Library) from 3-5pm
Description: Talk to representatives from numerous majors at CSUMB and get information and resources about the kinds of research opportunities available in your major. Do not forget to pick up your raffle ticket!

Rewards of Undergraduate Research: Graduate Student Presentations and Social
Date: Friday, April 19th
Location/Time: Library-Room 1128 from 4-6pm
Description: Hear from distinguished CSUMB alumni who have gone on to conduct research at the graduate level and how undergraduate research has influenced their career goals and graduate trajectory. Enjoy late hors d’oeurves at the social hour; mingle with students, faculty, and CSUMB alumni; and collect your prizes at the raffle drawing.
